Big News:

I have been writing poetry for over 30 years and time and again friends and family have said, "You should publish these poems!"

Well, I've finally done it and should have the book of poetry in print by Christmas, 2010!

Written Whispers of a Wannabe Writer

Been writing poetry every since I can remember. First time I was published (home town paper) I think I was 7. I remember my mom was so proud, and that made me feel special. There's a rough edge to my writing, and when it comes to the mechanics of it I am an amateur, yet, what I lack in technique I make up for with passion. Writing can be tough, and I am no rule follower (just ask my hubby) so it's good to have a place to go for help.  There are many resourses one the web, just Google "poetry" and the sky's the limit!

The fam

I would be remiss if I failed to mention that I am hoping to attract some diehard fans (preferably before I die). And maybe even solicit some sales of my poetry book. It is available now, and I am delighted to share that I have had some Kindle sales!

If you like what you see here please hit the FB like button and help get the word out! Also, please visit the let's share link take a few minutes to let me know what you think. Post some poetry, read and comment to other posts. I know the activity will be slow at first but, I am patient! While we are waiting for the construction of the wanna be poetry sharing site to be completed take a few moments to check out the other poetry sharing site links, Quoteland and Worddistillery.

What Now?

I have been working on the sequel to Billy's Prayers, titled, Into the Blue and hope to finish it soon. I may even post what I have and ask for input. But, we'll cross that bridge when we get there. God Bless.
